Is the trend of tattooing corrupting our society like our elders said it would? It is tough to tell these days. When a friend of mine got her first tattoo, she was escorted by her mother to see her local priest. To calm the flustered mother down, the priest simply rolled his sleeves up and revealed tattoos covering both of his arms. When men first started piercing their ears they were thought to be homosexual; Now, it is normal to see a man with both ears pierced and people dont take a second look. The rapidly increasing popularity of tattoos is a natural progression in our culture, like that of the movement from horse drawn carriages to motorized vehicles.
